Thanks to all who came down to the Brighton Live show at the Albert on Thursday! It was a predictably sweaty
one.
Less than a week til we hit New York... more bands have been added to some of the shows and you can buy
advance tickets for the Knitting Factory show here. Our last Brighton show before we go is back at the Albert
on Monday, supporting Johnny Foreigner and Dananananaykroyd - entry is £7 on the door but we've got a
cheap list going at £5 a pop... just email us at my_device@hotmail.com with your name and 'cheap list' in the
subject header by Monday afternoon if you want in!!!

Another NYC show added, this one with the mighty KNYFE HYTS at the Cake Shop on Monday 6th October!!
While we're on the subject of awesome news, The Library Is On Fire are now joining us at the Silent Barn as
well as the shows at their HQ and the Knitting Factory! Deeeeetailz.
Brighton Live is back again in September - we're hitting the Albert on Thursday 25th for some totally free fun
with Riot Riot.
If you're gonna be at Beachdown next weekend we'll be playing the Brighton stage at around 4:30 on Sunday
24th... see you there!

So, speaking of gigs... in October, we're gonna be crossing a whole bunch of water to play a few shows in
New York!! Two are with The Library Is On Fire, one with Nose Bleed Island, one with more bands TBC. More
details when we have them... everything so far is all up in here!

We're playing the first ever Beachdown Festival at Devil's Dyke in Brighton on Sunday 24th August. Not sure
exactly what time yet, more info (and more shows!) to follow...

Another Brighton show coming up at the Albert on Saturday 2nd August with Reckless Sons and Pope Joan -
this comes a day after our set across town at the Alibi, so should make for a fun weekend ! We'll be playing
different sets for each gig so coming to both might, you know, be a fun thing to do...
We'll be putting a few more shows up soon that we're particularly excited about... watch this space like a
hawk watches things.

So, no show at the Water Margin, sorry about that!! No fault of our own, you understand... Instead we'll be
playing the Alibi (near the King Alfred) in Hove on 1st August for I Made This Records, more bands TBC.
Further afield, we're supporting Johnny Foreigner and Dananananaykroyd at the Albert on the 29th September
(tickets from Rounder, Resident and wegottickets). Shit yeah!

In a few days we'll be playing our last Brighton show for a little while before we lock ourselves away in our
writey-hole for a couple of months... come down to the Artrocker Club at the Water Margin on Thursday if you

The Ex Models show was a real banger, thanks to everyone who turned up early to see us! We've got another
Brighton show lined up on the 26th June at the Water Margin for the Artrocker Club with LR Rockets and Fables -
you can email for a membership which gets you cheap entry to most Artrocker nights.

Holy crap, Youtube has gone nuts for the Rusty Trombone video! The man behind the magic, James Rolfe, (aka the
Angry Videogame Nerd of Cinemassacre Productions fame) uploaded it to his channel last week and the reception
seems to have been pretty enthusiastic. Go watch!!
This Friday sees us support one of our most favouritest ever bands,
Ex Models!!! If for some reason you haven't
already, get your ticket over at wegottickets.com or from Rounder and Resident in Brighton. This is an early show
with some other awesome bands in the shape of Epideme and Easy Hips. Make sure you turn up at early so as not
to miss a damn thing.

We're playing a free show at Hector's House on Friday 25th April with The Indigos, Everyone to the Anderson and
Out From Animals and will be taking the opportunity to road test some new stuff! Would be good to see you there.

I could spend whole paragraphs getting all gooey about the band I'm about to mention, but instead I'll just say that
we're supporting EX MODELS at the Engine Room on May 23rd. This is a good thing. Add Epideme and Easy Hips
and you have a pretty awesome night to say the least... full scoop.

We had a fantastic time on tour, met some great people and played with some awesome bands... huge thanks to
everyone who came out to see us! We hope to be revisiting a lot of the places we played soon.
There are a few shows in the pipeline that we'll announce soon but for now we're gonna continue writing some
more new songs...

Only a couple of weeks til we head out on tour to play our first shows of the year!! We're damn excited, especially
as we'll be getting to a lot of places we've never played before. A couple more have been added, namely Farnham
and Oxford... Check back here soon cos we'll add more details of times/prices/line ups as soon as we get them.
We played at a house party in Brighton a couple of months ago and you can see a few songs from that set here. I
have no idea how we managed not to break anything.
Also, a very happy first birthday to OIB Records, whose first release was the Eat Lead 7" a year ago... check out
the website/myspace and show this awesome label some love!!

Last night was nuts, Seagull Strange had a broken bass player so we had to step up and finish things off by playing
for twice the length we usually do! It was sweatier than anything and we got to play a couple of songs we don't
usually do live, which was real nice. We've one more show to round the year off, at Hector's House in Brighton on
Saturday 22nd. It's a free one yo!
Since I last typed here we've had TWO videos back from various talented folk at whom we throw mega props
(namely Jamie Gillett & Dave Smith and Steve Hall ). That means we're almost half way to having a video for every
song on the record!!

Where the hell did December come from?!
We've got two more gigs to round the year off, both of which are festively themed. Next Saturday 8th we'll be at the
Luminaire in Kilburn for the Shifty Disco Christmas bash, with Seagull Strange, Members of the Public and The Raid,
with The good ol' Race spinning some records in between the bands. Tickets are £6, go go go!
Then on the 22nd we're back at Hector's House in Brighton for a free all day shindig with a pretty monstrous line up
featuring My Federation, Teasing Lulu, The Hoodoo Creeps and Saw Gang Buzz. You'd have to be totally puzzled on
egg nog to miss that one.

week later in London for the Shifty Disco Christmas Party!

Don't ever say we don't keep you up to date! We've just had a fairly last minute gig added next week in London...
we're back at the Dublin Castle in Camden on Tuesday 20th to play with 8 Track Stereo and Fortune Favours. We
had a great night last time we played there so looking forward to getting back! Entry is £5 but you can get in for £4 if
you email us. The night is for Rock Sound - they gave Jumbo Fiasco a pretty nice review this month, go check it out!

Well, two updates in one day, that's a first!! There's a lot going today...
I know you're busy so I'll make this brief... firstly, we've just confirmed a couple more gigs this month in Leeds and

JUMBO FIASCO IS GO! Yeah, it's available to buy right now from all good record shops (but none of the shit ones),
online and at all our upcoming gigs (more of which will be announced soon!). Come and celebrate with us tomorrow
for free at the Buffalo Bar!
In other exciting news, the Radio 1 session we recorded for Huw Stephens' Introducing show will be going out on
air this week!! The show starts at midnight on Wednesday (Thursday if you're that way inclined), goes on til 2 and
will feature a bunch of tracks from the new album (and a cheeky cover!) we recorded live at Maida Vale studios a
few weeks back. Tune in!

The launch party on Halloween was totally bonkers! It was really nice to see so many people making a effort and
dressing up to raise some money for Oxfam. The Midnight Expreso and Lonely Ghosts/Tumbledown Estate were
awesome too. Special thanks go to Jess for putting the whole shebang together, and Sadie for giving up her time to
make everyone look spine-chillingly awesome. You can see some photos from the night here.
Only a few days til the album's out! You can buy it from pretty much anywhere on Monday, but if you can't wait til
then you can get it online right now... take a look at some of the reviews it's getting, while you're at it.

TOMORROW is our JUMBO FIASCO LAUNCH PARTY at the Hope! Starts at 8 and is £2.50 on the door, which all goes
to Oxjam! Turn up early to ensure entry (and a goodie bag!) and to make sure you see The Midnight Expresso and
Lonely Ghosts vs The Tumbledown Estate. The album's not officially out until November 5th, but we might just have a
copy or two to sell at the gig... and here, for those of you who can't make it!
We're playing the Artrocker club at the Buffalo Bar in Highbury next Tuesday November 6th - you can get it totally free

Just added a bunch of new gigs (2x London, Southampton and Brighton) and a couple of reviews from our two most
recent London shows (at the Fly and the Metro). We're getting excited about our first trip to Manchester to play In The
City on Monday, it's been ages since we hit the north. Also just around the corner is our album launch party in Brighton
on Halloween... take a look at this spooktacular poster.
From tomorrow, we're staring to rotate the whole of Jumbo Fiasco on our myspace! There will be a new track every
day until they've all been up, so keep checking back to hear the whole thing.
Watch out for our videos for Super Tonio! and Uh! on MTV2! If you've got an itchy voting finger and feel like giving us a
hand, you can vote for them to be played a bit more. Thanks, champs. Thamps.

Yesterday's recording went swimmingly - we ended up doing five tracks, including a cover of a favourite pop tune of
ours, which was barrels of fun. Not sure when it will air yet but will let you know as soon as we find out!
Two new London shows added - The Fly on Wednesday 10th and The Metro on Tuesday 16th.
Jumbo Fiasco was featured on Rock Sound's 'Decks of Death' last month - take a look.

Some exciting news - we're going up to BBC's Maida Vale studios next week to record a session for Huw Stephens!
We're doing four tracks and it should be broadcast some time nearer to the release of the new record. We can't wait.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to see us play this week in London and Brighton, they were two of the best
gigs we've had for a while! Looking forward to playing in Manchester for the first time next month, should have some
more details on that soon...

Our new album JUMBO FIASCO is out on 5th November on Shifty Disco! See cover art and tracklisting here. It'll be
available to preorder very soon... in the meantime, head over to our myspace to hear some new songs!
We're having a launch party in Brighton on the 31st October (that's Halloween you know) at the Hope, in aid of Oxjam.
Also playing will be our good friends Lonely Ghosts vs. The Tumbledown Estate and The Midnight Expresso, plus DJs.
Tonight, however, we're hitting London to play the Dublin Castle in Camden with The Cages, The Special Relationship
